Futomama

Beirut, Lebanon

2025

Defined by a bold industrial aesthetic, Futomama combines Japanese minimalism with a contemporary urban edge, where stainless steel, reflective finishes, and striking red lighting establish a distinctive architectural identity.

The compact layout emphasizes clean lines, exposed materials, and a restrained palette, allowing texture, lighting, and spatial composition to shape the experience. A minimalist front counter introduces a raw, functional character, while a concealed transition leads into a speakeasy, where darker tones and atmospheric lighting create a more intimate, immersive environment.

The result is a carefully composed contrast between industrial simplicity and underground sophistication, creating a distinctive spatial experience rooted in Beirut’s urban nightlife culture.
